Year: october - november 2011 / 6th semester of TU Vienna
Author: Nela Gottvaldová
Type of work: Student competition entry
Task: Energetically independent house - sheep farm in a protected landscape area of beautiful czech mountains. Design should involve conception of heat / water / wastewater / electricity management.
Design:The design reacts on soft shapes of the mountains and plays with shapes of a wave. Technically it is based on usage of animal´s body heat, together with creating ideal microclimate in the stalls. Consulted with MvDr. Cloupek from Mendel University. Proved by calculation - seems to be a very smart win-win solution.
